Join Rainbows in Schools

We are a become a volunteer run, nonprofit, unincorporated association, with members, a committee, and office bearers.

So, join up and join the conversation about improving school inclusion.

There is currently no joining fee. We welcome people from all over Australia, who who identify as LGBTQIA+, and those who identify as allies. We respect your privacy and your details will not be passed onto any third party.

Why would you like to become a member of Rainbows in Schools?

We would like the group to be as inclusive and diverse as possible, so if you would like to tell us, it would be very helpful for us to know the ways in which you identify (lesbian/gay/bisexual/pansexual/asexual/heterosexual, transgender/non-binary/gender fluid/cisgender, male/female, intersex and/or other). This information will not be available to anyone outside of the committee.

We would also like the group to be diverse in terms of disability/differing ability, cultural background, languages spoken, religion, age and occupation. So, if you would like to tell us, it would be useful for us to know how you identify on those factors as well. Again, this information will not be visible to anyone outside the committee.

Do you have any special skills that you could donate to Rainbows in School when it suited you? (e.g. writing, research, web skills, social media, marketing, workshop presentation/facilitation, grant writing...)
